Man, if we can't get a Democratic member of Congress to stand up and read the Jack Smith report in session then what are we even doing here?

So Trump has pardoned/unleashed the J6’ers. My question is “Can the Capitol Police officers sue in civil court the violent ones who attacked them or their material supporters?” (If they were convicted criminally for it I would presume there is pretty good evidence of their actions.)

I guess we don't need to worry for a while on whether Ken and Josh will have anything new to discuss.

Bumper crop episode on all the Day 1 EO's and pardons? Or deep dives spread out over the next few episodes?

I suppose many of the EO's don't put any specific individuals in "Serious Trouble", so maybe not actually all that much to discuss on this particular show, unless that individual is "America".

Ken, is America in "Serious Trouble"?

What would happen if Merrick Garland ordered the release of the 2nd part of Smith's report in defiance of Cannon's order? Can a federal judge hold an AG in contempt? Has that ever happened?

Congress has held the AG (Garland, Barr, and Holder apparently) in contempt before with functionally no legal effect. Would Cannon have any more plausible enforcement mechanism than Congress did?

I suppose Pam Bondi could take over and unless somebody donates $25k might enforce a contempt order against her predecessor.

Since Trump is going to order the cases dropped anyway, wouldn’t it have been better to have just dropped/forfeited the cases and publish anyway?

I have a philosophical question. Thanks to Judge Marchan's strategic thinking, Donald Trump is a convicted felon. So can he vote in Florida?

I suspect the answer to that is how to determine how much restitution is owed, if any? That and someone in Florida whose balls didn't blow off in a hurricane.

Florida applies the rules of the state where the prospective voter was convicted. Trump can vote in FL because he could vote in NY.

Ah. Thank you. So Trump benefits from the libtards belief that everyone should be able to vote and then turns around and tries to stop millions of people from voting or having their votes count. I don't know if I am going to survive the next four years.

The settlement was in 2023.

It sure was. I am still in a state of reading a date in 2023 and thinking "last year."
