They really shouldn't let me donate to new podcasts when I'm loopy on colonoscopy prep.

I am so happy you are back! APL was a bonding moment for my Brother In Law, me and my spouse. This will make all family get togethers much more fun

We have missed the banter!

So glad you two are back!!

It took me through the Pope Hat rabbit hole to get here. Finally, I found the source of the legal Nile River.

BTW - please make comment on your "certifiably crazy" media buddy Michael Avenatti.

How much does it really prove to have witnesses attest that Trump was told repeatedly by multiple people that election fraud claims were bogus? Presumably he was simultaneously being told by a different set of people that his election loss was actually totally fraudulent. Unless the legitimate loss narrative was the only position he was exposed to, it seems like it would be hard to establish any kind of reckless disregard on his part.

Prosecuting him seems like a terrible idea to me. As you mentioned, there will be all sorts of delays and complications. The defense will make every attempt to disrupt the process. Even if the inevitable calls for a mistrial aren't successful, I don't like the chances that not one juror buys into the crazy. And then with the appeals...

Whatever the outcome, it will take so long to resolve that it will no longer be relevant when it does. In the meantime it will consume everything. We have plenty of other things threatening to consume everything right now.

I fear that prosecuting him will only give him more power. Is the court of public opinion the only way to make him go away?

Ken, you've always seemed skeptical of the idea of Trump being indicted, so my ears perked up when you said you thought the DOJ should file charges. I'm curious if the hearings changed your mind on this, or if I misremembering your stance on the issue.

I believe you mentioned on this episode the possibly of a subscription discount if we also pay for Very Serious. Can you point me to how I sign up for that? Thanks! Great to have you all back on the air.
