Yes, I have been fighting a terrible cold for 10 days. I sounded much worse last week.

Thank you for releasing the episode early - this forcing Trump to announce the news of his impending second grand jury Target letter.

Why did y'all feel the need to get a new voice actor for Ken

Ken sounding absolutely 4K resolution today, love to hear it.

Any chance you guys could talk about the ongoing fight over Judge Terry Doughty's order preventing the Biden administration from talking to social media companies? Been interested in hearing your takes.

It was stayed. Maybe if the appeals court removes the stay, it would be interesting. Otherwise, it's another judge off his/her rocker.

No take on the Taco Tuesday trademark dispute?

Well dang, no goatScream.mp4 in the randy segment?

one reason that i think has gone undiscussed about why trumps lawyers made some of those arguments to delay the trial is that trump was made happy by including those arguments

Ken, you sound like a Hollywood narrator!

I thought he sounded 20 years younger!

Go to Law school Josh. You’d be a terrific trial lawyer, especially on cross. 😘

I thought maybe it was a joke that they replaced Ken at the beginning, given the voice change!

Ken sounds really different today. Maybe nursing a cold? If so, hope ya feel better soon.

Given today's news, is it plausible that he'll attempt to use each of these potential trials to delay the other? How well is that likely to go over with a judge? Or are those kinds of delays already inevitable when dealing with a defendant who is under indictment in multiple jurisdictions? How much more complicated does it become if he's also indicted in Georgia?

I’m not a lawyer and Ken can correct me but these scenarios are probably why they don’t do the infinite delays or just setting a trial out 3 years in the future. The courts have no idea which one will actually go to trial first so they all just keep moving forward. Unless you have a situation like Michael Avenatti where both sides agree to delay a case while another gets figured out.

Or a follow up - assume Judge Cannon still licks his boots and delays the top secret trial until after the election (or even worse, when he is no longer a candidate, so forever).

So if we also assume another judge gets the J6 trial. How much influence will she have on that court case timing? Can she demand that since hers was first, the other can’t happen until she is done? What brakes can she put on that case?

Hi guys, can you please hurry up and post your next episode so that the newest Trump indictment can drop? Thanks!

Also, any chance Ken can weigh in on Bubbaprog aka Tim Burke?

Hey guys, do you think Ray Epps could successfully argue that although he might be a traitor but not a fed, he is in any event *not* a public figure for defamation law purposes? If so, doesn't his case get a lot stroger?

Patrick W. Gilmore's avatar

I am interested in the idea that a plaintiff must get over the higher defamation hurdle for "public figures" when the main reason the plaintiff is a "public figure" is the defamation in the first place.
