Your bantering about "dr goldberg" being guiliani's doc raises several legal questions...

1. are you defaming me by suggesting that i would take care of him?

2. if i find several other "dr goldbergs", can it be made a class action?

3. since both of you were defaming me.. is it RICO?

dr harvey goldberg

ps. love your show..

Thank you. Can I ask about anything here, or does my question have to do with this particular show's content?

Hi Doug -- if your question is about the law or a news story we covered or might cover on the podcast, please ask it here. If it's about your subscription or something like that, please email ricohotline@serioustrouble.show.

Thanks,

Josh

Thank you so much Josh for your reply. I'm getting the sense that questions are fine to submit if they are about the law, or a story you have covered or may cover. It's helpful to know this. Thanks again.

As far as I know, it doesn't have to be about the day's topics...I have certainly seen other posters ask questions about other stuff. Whether you get an answer may depend though.

Thank you Angie. Are you a fellow listener or are you somehow part of the podcast operation? I'm not sure how this works. Well, in any case, I do appreciate your reply and the hint of information conveyed.

So, it feels like a risk to ask, unrelated to a show. And you don't want to be a pest, if you ask again, if not answered, I suppose you would want to wait until you feel you have achieved a consideration, and then, maybe, only once again. Sometimes, in life, you have a question ~ about law, which nobody seems to have an answer for. So you risk to ask in a most considerate way.

Just a fellow listener, but, I read all the posts on every pod. They won't get mad at you at all, they just might not want to take the question,( for all kinds of reasons, ) but, I have seen them take some, and they have a thing every once in a while where anyone can submit questions, and then later they answer some of them on a pod. You can also reply to the email with a question etc too

Thank you Angie - Sorry I disappeared for a while. You know, I think they clarified their position a few shows ago. They virtually opened a show stating something like, “What we talk about are active cases in the system, right now.” “That is our primary commerce and focus.”

I think that was a very nice way of saying that a question like mine, about something Justice Roberts may have said during oral arguments some years ago, was not what they were doing, generally.

If I could formulate my question. If I could find the Roberts quote and ask in this forum, I think it would be outside their intended conversation.

Angie, just now, reviewing some of your comments, I must say that your heart, your willingness to be a partner in an inquiry like this, is full, forthcoming, and present, with those with whom you are communicating with, or working with. I feel strengthened somehow because of your heart in this.

In this episode Ken said, speaking of Judge Merchan, "he wants him to be officially a convicted felon, which he's not technically until judgment has been entered after sentencing." Patrick Frey (Patterico) has posted a couple of times that this is not the case in NY and that Trump had been a convicted felon since the guilty verdict was entered, referencing NY Criminal Procedure Law 1.20(13)-(15) (https://codes.findlaw.com/ny/criminal-procedure-law/cpl-sect-1-20/). https://x.com/Patterico/status/1829717306240577699
